We will take care of all your bookings and arrange the exact holiday programme you want as your central booing point.

Handling your booking

We reserve the services you want at once as soon as we get your booking and we send the confirmation on to you. A week before you start your holiday you will get your travel documents from us with all the vouchers for the various programme points. This means you can get straight on with enjoying your holiday as soon as you arrive without having to bother about any of these formalities. We invoice you later, with a down payment of 30% of the total to be made on receiving the booking confirmation.

Traunsee Touristik GmbH General Terms and Conditions of Business

The following terms and conditions apply insofar as not specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

1.) Registering and confirmation

When you register with us you ask your partner Traunsee Touristik GmbH to provide you with a travel contract. You can register in person, in writing or by phone. Traunsee Touristik GmbH makes the contract on written confirmation.

2.) Terms of payment

Payment is by bank transfer – with no charges to the receiver – to account number 9.514.100 RAIBA SALZKAMMERGUT NORD, BLZ 34510, IBAN: AT16 3451 0000 0951 4100 BIC: RZ00AT2L510. If you want to pay in cash on site this is only possible at the cash desks of the Feuerkogel Cable Car in Ebensee and the Grünberg Cable Car in Gmunden (at times when these cable cars are open) and at the office of Traunsee Touristik GmbH in Gmunden (during office hours). Please tell us in advance about how you would like to pay. Default interest at standard bank rate will be charged on delayed payments. The client is further under obligation to pay the cost of reminders and the cost of following up money owed.

3.) Cancellation terms

3.1.) Several day programme

a) Cancellation fees: no charge up to 31 days before arrival
30 to 15 days before arrival: 30% of the total cost
14 to 07 days before arrival: 60% of the total cost
06 to 00 days before arrival: 80% of the total cost

b) Reduction in the number of persons coming
up to 31 days before arrival: no cancellation fees
up to 15 days before arrival: 10% of the total cost
up to 07 days before arrival: 30% of the total cost
up to 01 days before arrival: 50% of the total cost
on the day of arrival: 75% of the total cost

3.2.) One day programme
up to 07 days before arrival: no cancellation fees
up to 03 days before arrival: 10% of the total cost
on the day of arrival: 50% of the total cost

3.3.) The services in detail
When an all-inclusive arrangement is booked it is not possible to make a claim in respect to specific individual services included in the package that are not made use of.

4.) Responsibility/liability

Traunsee Touristik GmbH cannot accept liability for interruptions to the services that are not the responsibility of Traunsee Touristik GmbH or are the result of force majeur.

5.) Prices

All prices are payable to Traunsee Touristik GmbH without discount. Each 21st person in a group travels free, but there is no additional free place for a bus driver or travel guide. Round trips are generally made using your own means of transport (bus, car…). Children’s rates are available on request. All prices given include VAT and are in euros.

6.) Direct contracts

The arranging or booking of services is made subject to the condition that no direct contracts will be made with the service providers arranged or provided by Traunsee Touristik GmbH 24 months following the booking. In the event of an infringement against this term you are under obligation to pay Traunsee Touristik GmbH compensation of 10% of the booking volume of all business transacted direct with the service providers arranged or provided by Traunsee Touristik GmbH during the course of the coming 3 years.

7.) Court of jurisdiction

The competent court of Gmunden is the court of jurisdiction. Austrian law applies. The General Travel Terms and Conditions of Traunsee Touristik GmbH and of the Austrian Travel Agents Association also apply in the latest versions or in the latest amendments to the terms.

All rights reserved in respect to factual errors, printing errors and changes in programme and prices. Minimum number of participants for all-inclusive arrangements: 21 persons
