A special challange for good skiers is the 6 km unprepared downhill run. Grünberg Cable Car Gmunden
Enjoy a wonderful day! The Gruenberg Cable Car brings you up to 1.004m above sea level. Enjoy the impressive view on to the town of Gmunden, lake Traunsee and the surrounding mountain ranges while ascending with the cable car. The Gruenberg Mountain offers even more: 20km of hiking trails, a nature trail and a mushroom theme trail. The route from the cable cars mountain station to lake Laudachsee, amongst green meadows, is a comfortable hiking trail which is also suitable for families with children. For a relaxing break enjoy a snack in the Ramsauer Alm restaurant at the lake Laudachsee or in the Gruenbergalm restaurant, just 5 minutes walking distance from the cable car mountain station.
